Based in Sandy Springs, GA, we are a niche CPA firm providing tax, accounting and financial planning advisory services to our closely held business, high-net worth, high-income clients. Our firm is seeking an entry-level Tax Staff to join our team. This is a great opportunity to build your career and personal development under our firm leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated and possesses a strong interest in Tax and Accounting.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, non-profit, estate and gift federal & state tax returns
- Accounting preparation for closely held businesses
- Preparation of income and business tax planning projections
- Tax research and correspondence with taxing authorities
- Participation in consulting engagements including direct contact with clients first 24 months
Skills for Success
- Completion of Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Taxation
- Completion of or pursuit of Master’s degree of Accounting or Taxation is ideal, but not required
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with CCH Axcess and QuickBooks is a plus
